Oh, What a Show!

By any measure, the Santa Cruz Bonsai Kai 2025 Annual Show was a success. If you missed it, you missed something special. Over 84 trees groomed and on display, scads of people (and I mean hundreds and hundreds) came through and “oohed” and “ahhed”, two top-notch demonstrations, and even clouds of exotic and unusual orchid flowers displayed by our partner-for-the-day, the Santa Cruz Orchid Society, and so much more.
The quality and variety of our bonsai was outstanding, many never seen before. People are stepping-up their game for sure! And besides ancient masterpieces, we also showed the best results from novices, too—beginners can have fun and produce very enjoyable young trees. These folks are on their way; it’s so good to see.
