An Unfortunate Hiatus

To all members and friends of the Santa Cruz Bonsai Kai, Unfortunately due to the current health climate, we’ve had to postpone our annual show, and put in person meetings on hold. This includes workshops and monthly meetings as well for the time being. The reason we are doing this is protect the members of our club and the community at large from the continued spread of COVID-19. The Museum of Art History has reserved a couple of dates for us in late September and early October in order to do our show then, and once these and we will make sure that these new dates work for us before proceeding to schedule them. We are hoping that things will begin to return to normal around May, but this has yet to be determined. We would like to have our club members continue to communicate and display enthusiasm for bonsai. I, Brian Young, and hopefully some other members of the club, are going to do interviews and articles for the website so we have a method appreciation and communication if not directly in person. Please contact me at 626-660-4789 or by email at bzupman@yahoo.com to get in contact. I may also reach out to you directly to ask for an interview.

(PS to any members who need someone to go on a grocery run for them, hit me up :))

(PPS here is a cypress forest I put together the other day!)
